I designed the menu for a local business that wanted some creative direction on how to make their menu pop. After discussing a vision for their brand, such as the desired vibe, personality, and overall identity they wanted to convey, I emulated these elements in the menu design. In the end, we had a menu that not only offers yummy foods, but also reflects the character of the establishment for a cohesive and inviting dining experience.
Since the business is located in an area saturated with high-end ramen stores, they wanted to stand out by offering a more casual, down-to-earth atmosphere. To achieve this vision without compromising on the traditional feel, I opted for a gentle asian color palette of red and beige. The subtle yet cozy background color coupled with sans-serif fonts creates a feeling of casualness, and the ramen graphic on the side adds a playful, artistic touch.
